Are LORNEMONT watches mechanical?
Every reference in the Aureline, Tidal, Skyward, Corran, Braidwood and Étoile families runs on a Japanese automatic movement from Miyota or Seiko Instruments. Only the Léa 30 and the chronograph family differ: the Léa uses a low-maintenance quartz calibre, and the chronographs use Seiko's mecha-quartz, which pairs a quartz regulator with a mechanical column-wheel feel.
Which size should I choose?
Measure your wrist with a soft tape. Under 16 cm, start with 32-38 mm. Between 16 and 18 cm, 38-41 mm wears balanced. Above 18 cm, 40-42 mm sits comfortably. Every dial photo on this site is taken at true proportions, so what you see is what arrives.
What does the warranty cover?
Two years on the movement, covering manufacturing defects, with service handled through our workshop rather than a call centre. Straps and crystals damaged in wear are not covered, but replacements are inexpensive and user-fit able on quick-release bars.
How long does shipping take?
Orders leave our facility within one business day. US and EU deliveries typically arrive in 3-6 business days, worldwide within 8. Shipping is free on every order, with tracking emailed the moment your parcel is scanned.
Can I return a watch?
Yes - 30 days from delivery, worn or unworn, with free return shipping inside the US and EU. We ask only that the presentation box come back with the watch. Refunds are issued within 3 business days of arrival.
How water resistant are they really?
Dress references are rated 30-50 m: rain-safe, not for swimming. Divers are rated 200 m with screw-down crowns and gasket-tested cases. Ratings assume the crown is fully seated; we publish them honestly rather than optimistically.
